The KidSight Screening Camera was purchased by the Chambersburg Noontime Lions Club in 2001, as part of Lion District 14-T's KidSight program. Since that time it has been used by many of the Lions Clubs in Region IV to conduct children eye screening events in their communities.
09/08/05 - The Chambersburg Noontime Lions Club has contributed $300 to the Lions Club International's Hurricane Katrina Disaster Relief Fund The gift will help fund a $200,000 Major Catastrophe Grant announced last week by Clement Kusiak, Lions Club International Foundation Chairman, who challenged Lions Clubs worldwide to contribute to Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. "Lions consider themselves a part of both the world and local communities and our members were more than happy to quickly answer the call to help with this tragedy" said Dick Blackshire, club president.
